AI Global Search Expansion

Ask anything. Get a cited answer, instantly.

BytePad's AI Global Search already enables natural-language retrieval across the entire archived corpus. The next phase adds cross-facility queries, citation-level source attribution on every AI answer, and configurable confidence thresholds for high-stakes clinical lookups. No SQL. No specialist training. Clinicians ask in plain English and get the answer with a document reference.

  • Cross-facility and multi-tenant natural-language queries
  • Citation-level source attribution. Every AI answer traces to a specific document and page
  • Configurable confidence thresholds for high-stakes clinical use cases
  • Expanded coverage: radiology, pathology, behavioral health document types

Local-GPT for On-Premises Environments

AI inference that never leaves your network.

Some healthcare organizations require AI to run entirely within their own perimeter, with no data crossing the firewall. BytePad's local-GPT architecture brings the full AI Global Search experience to air-gapped and on-premises deployments, running a purpose-tuned model on the customer's own infrastructure. Pilot deployments are underway with U.S. health systems in highly regulated environments. Production availability is targeted H1 2027.

  • Air-gapped inference with zero data egress from the customer network
  • Purpose-tuned model optimized for healthcare archival query patterns
  • Runs on customer-managed Azure stack or bare-metal infrastructure
  • Identical API surface to cloud AI Search, with no workflow changes for end users

FHIR R5 Readiness

Standards-aligned. Network-ready. TEFCA-compatible.

FHIR R4 is live in BytePad today for outbound data access. External systems can pull archived records via a standards-compliant REST API. The FHIR R5 work expands that surface to cover new R5 resource types, aligns BytePad with USCDI v3 data-class requirements, and adds TEFCA-aligned QHIN query patterns so archived records are accessible across health information networks without point-to-point integrations.

  • FHIR R5 resource types including updated Encounter and SubscriptionTopic
  • USCDI v3 data-class alignment across all archived record types
  • TEFCA-aligned QHIN query support for cross-network record access
  • Bulk FHIR export for analytics, population health, and payer use cases

Additional EHR Source-System Coverage

If your legacy system ran it, BytePad can archive it.

BytePad's connector library already covers Epic, Oracle Health, Meditech, Allscripts, McKesson, GE Centricity, and 40+ additional source systems. The roadmap deepens coverage in three areas with the highest volume of active decommissioning requests: behavioral-health platforms, specialty clinical systems in radiology and imaging, and federal mission systems targeted for DoD decommissioning programs.

  • Behavioral health: Netsmart myEvolv, Credible, Anasazi, Dayforce
  • Radiology & imaging: PACS/RIS source connectors and DICOM metadata archival
  • Federal mission systems: AHLTA, CHCS, Essentris for DoD decommissioning
  • Expanded HL7 v2 variant handling for non-standard legacy message structures

Already live in BytePad.

These aren't roadmap items. They're shipping today.
